65-Year-Old Man Critically Injured In Bear Attack In Handwara

Srinagar- A 65-year-old man was critically injured in an attack by a bear in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday morning.

An official identified the man as Wali Mohammad Sheikh son of Habibullah Sheikh of Dolipora village in Tehsil Villgam of the district, reported news agency GNS.

The sexagenarian was outside his home when the bear attacked him during the wee hours today, the official said.

SHO Villgam Mohammad Suleiman said that the man has been shifted to a Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.
