2 CRPF Officers Commit Suicide In Kashmir

Srinagar- Two Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officers committed suicide by shooting themselves dead with their service rifles in two separate incidents in Kashmir valley on Tuesday.

A CRPF  sub-inspector identified as GD Fateh Singh (851290185) S/o Eidan Singh of Jaisalmer Rajasthan committed suicide after shooting himself with his service riffle at Akrun Mattan area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, said an official.

He said the officer was rushed to the nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

In a separate incident, an Assistant Sub-Inspector of CRPF Bangali Babu (921110873) aged about 47 Years of Madhya Pradesh of F/49 Battalion located at Neelam Cinema Karan Nagar also shot self to death, the official added.

He said the officer was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
