SRINAGAR A youth was killed in a scuffle over water between two villages on Monday in south Kashmir district of Shopian. Official sources said that a heated argument took place between two villages in Shopian on Monday over distribution of irrigation water.
The argument escalated, resulting in a scuffle, resulting in injuries to a person, they said.
They said the injured was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Police has registered a case and initiated investigation into the incident, they added.
