KARGIL: Thousands of faithful joined massive Al Quds Day rallies across this Himalayan region on Friday. The biggest rally was taken out in Kargil where procession began from Hauza Elmiya and culminated at Hussaini Park.

Quds Day procession was taken out after Friday prayers under the banner of Anjuman-e-Jamiat-ul-Ulema Asna Asharya, Islamia School Kargil and Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust.
The procession passed through Jamia Masjid, Main Bazar, Lal Chowk and culminated at Hussainy Park. Local leaders spoke at Islamia School Chowk and Hussainy Park.

In Sankoo, Anjuman Sahib Zaman organised al Quds rally in which thousands of men and women of the area took part expressing solidarity with the people of Palestine and for the liberation of First Qibla of Muslims from the Zionist occupation.
Reports of Quds Day rally has also come in from Leh.
