Please raise our concerns. Please refer our message to the honorable Governor; Chief Minister and Chairman JKPSC to conduct our exams on time as we are facing torture and agony by this frequent deferment.
Since it is not any middle school exam that we may need a day or two more it is a long process.
Sir our concern is that by the frequent deferments we are not able to concentrate on the UPSC exams as the approach is altogether different.
As UPSC Prelims Exam is scheduled on June 3rd, if JKPSC conducts our exams on time we can at least get 2.5 months to prepare for UPSC Prelims otherwise we have to follow another date sheet of JKPSC which will create quite a dilemma and we will neither get time nor will be able to focus on the UPSC exams.
Sir in the KAS process we have already lost our two attempts of the UPSC.
Sir JKPSC has notified these posts in June 2016 and two years have passed since then but some students are still not ready to sit in the exams. it will take then generations to conduct such exams. Sir as already some of the students who were outside J&K have come to their state to take part in the exams, some in-service candidates have already taken leave for this exam so deferment is not just but torturous.
Moreover, UPSC has omitted the special age relaxation for J&K candidates from next year so most of us are at the verge of over age. Please raise our concerns immediately with the authorities through your esteemed newspaper, Kashmir Observer.
Thanking you
