JammuPrincipal Secretary Finance, Navin Kumar Choudhary today reviewed the progress of enrolment of the state government employees and pensioners for the Group Mediclaim Insurance scheme to be launched soon.
Chairing a meeting in this regard, Principal Secretary Finance asked the Drawing and Disbursing Officers to expedite the enrolment of employees for the scheme in their respective offices. He said the concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers will be solely responsible if due to their laxity, the prescribed forms have not yet been submitted and as a consequence if any employee suffers.
The meeting was informed that 2.25 lakh state government employees and pensioners have so far submitted their details for enrolment in the Group Mediclaim Insurance Scheme.
Choudhary asked the Government Employees and Pensioners who have not yet submitted their details in the prescribed proforma to do so immediately in order to avoid any inconvenience for availing the benefits of the scheme.
