SrinagarFollowing the assurance by Minister for Rural Development Abdul Haq Khan, the employees of Rural Development Department (RD) Saturday suspended the strike.
BDO president, Muhammad Akbar told KNS that they have suspended the strike after the Minister assured them that no innocent official will be harassed unnecessarily, and justice will prevail.
We hope that no employee will be harassed from now onwards and we will resume the work fromMonday, he said.
Pertinently, the employees of rural development were on strike from the last three days, protesting the raid of Vigilance Organization on Director RDD, Kashmir.
Earlier in the day, the Minister appealed the employees to resume their work and assured them that no innocent official will be harassed unnecessarily. (KNS)
