SrinagarJ&K first class cricketer Imran Haroon Haroon slammed an unbeaten 97 to power his side Syed Hyderpora to an easy win over Sopore Academy in their Big Challengers T20 Super League fixture played at Budgam on Wednesday.
Batting first Sopore Academy scored 140 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In reply, Imran Haroon starred for Syed Hyderpora with an unbeaten 49-ball 97 to take his side across the line losing just four wickets and four overs to spare.
He was declared man of the match for his belligerent knock.
At the same venue, the first fixture of the day saw HCC Humhama beat RP Wathora by 48 runs. Batting first, HCC Humhama posted a decent total of 170 for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. RP Wathora never looked in the hunt to chase down the target, getting bowled out for 122 in the 19th over. Junaid Bashir was given man of the match award for his 58 with the bat coupled with a couple of wickets to his name.
