Mirwaiz to lead Eid prayers at Eidgah

Srinagar: Anjuman-e- Auqaf Jamia Masjid has informed the general public of Kashmir that congregational Eid-ul-Azha prayers will be offered at historic Eidgah Srinagar at 9:30 am on Saturday.

As per the statement issued here by the Auqaf Jamia Masjid, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq will deliver Eid sermon highlighting the significance of Qurbani and the importance Eid ul Azha from 8:30 am onwards.

The statement further said that people should attend the gathering in large numbers and follow proper discipline. People are also requested to bring prayer mats along.
