BudgamPolice on Monday said that in a joint operation with Army and CRPF, they arrested two newly recruited militants from Batkoot in Handwara town of North Kashmirs Kupwara district.
Both the youth according to police are affiliated with militant organization Harkat-ul-Mujhadeen.
A police official told CNS that Younis Ahmed Mir alias Sarfraz (19) of Sabdan Gulwanpora Budgam and Tahir -ul-Islam alias Sajad Afghani (21)of Mulora, Tawheedabad Shaltang Srinagar were missing from two weeks.
Their parents had lodged missing reports at local Police stations in Budgam and Srinagar. The duo was apprehended in an operation, said the official claiming that 2 Pistols, 2 hand grenades were recovered from their possession. (CNS)
