SrinagarAn attempt to loot an ATM here was foiled by the police.
Some burglars tried to loot a J&K Bank ATM in Sumerbugh area of Nowgam here last night, a police official said Friday.
He said due to the timely intervention of police, the thieves failed in their bid and fled.
The official said minor damage was caused to the machine.
Earlier a Jammu and Kashmir Bank branch at Arwani Bijbehara was looted on July 31st.
Burglars managed to took away cash more than Rs. 5 lakh cash.
