SrinagarThe Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Friday staged a protest at Hyderpora here to condemn the National Investigating Agency, NIA raids, detentions, use of brute force against innocent people, forces high-handedness and killings in Kashmir and particularly in south Kashmir.
JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik had called for peaceful protests after Friday prayers against the harassment of resistance leaders by National Investigating Agency and continuous killing spree.
According to a statement , scores of leaders and activists took out a protest rally in Hyderpora area of Srinagar after Friday prayers against the killings and forces high-handedness.
Bashir Qureshi led the protest march and Mohammad Rafiq Owasi, Meraj u Din Rabbani, Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Imran Ahmad Bhat, Mohd Yusuf Mir, Ishfaq Ahmad Khan, Ab Ahad Bhat, Sajjad Ahmad Pala, Nisar Ahmad & scores other took part in protest rally.
The protesters denounced the detentions of resistance leaders by NIA and the recent killings across Kashmir.
