TralDeputy Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar visited flood affected area of ‘Nagbal’ Tral on Wednesday to assess the damage caused by flash flood.
Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by MLA Tral Mushtaq Ahmad Shah , DySP Tral, Shahzada Kabir Matoo, SDM Tral Riyaz Ahmad Malik, Tehsildar Tral , Officers of Flood Control Department, Irrigation, PDD, PHE, and other officers of various departments.
During the visit, DC Pulwama reviewed the situation of flood affected areas particularly Nagbal where flood triggered by cloud burst caused massive damage to public property on Tuesday afternoon.
He provided relief to the affected families including cheques , blankets , solar lights and other essential things , he also interacted with the people and assured them of every possible support.
DC impressed upon the sub division administration to monitor the situation and provide all possible assistance to the affected people.
Later on SDM Tral, Mr Riyaz Ahmad Malik, also provided relief to the affected families and assured them of all possible help.
