SrinagarCoaching camps for football and cricket players will be held in Islamia College of Science and Commerce Srinagar from next week, a statement from the organizers said Friday.
The camps separately for cricket and football will be conducted by Department of Physical Education of the college with some renowned coaches and players, as per the statement, expected to take part in it. The camps will start from July 4 with players already selected through trials held earlier.
Certified coaches Amjad Qadir and Sajid Dar-associated with Kashmir University-will be in charge of cricket and football camps respectively. College ground, according to the statement, will be venue for the both camps that will begin from eight in the morning.
The department has made elaborate arrangements to invite some renowned players to interact with the young college player for motivation and inspiration, the statement read.
Prof. Muzafar Ahmed Khan, principal of the college, will inaugurate the coaching programme who has asked the organizers to go ahead with the coaching programme despite scheduled summer vacation in the college.
