Budgam police to hold cricket tourney

Srinagar—Jammu and Kashmir Police will organize a cricket tourney in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, a statement from department’s media cell said Friday.

The tournament, according to the statement, is aimed at enhancing sports talent of the youth. It will be a Tennis (Cosco) ball T-20 cricket tournament that will begin from July 6 at district police lines Budgam. The matches will be played on a knockout basis.

“All the interested team are informed to collect the registration  forms from DPL, Budgam. Sajad Ahmad, cell number 9906747571 has been designated as contact person of the tournament,” read the statement.
