Srinagar: Religious services and other commemorative functions are being held across city to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hazrat Ali (A.S).
Hazrat Ali (AS) was injured during morning prayers at Masjid-e-Kufa in present day Iraq by a Khawarij on 19th of Ramazan. The noble imam succumbed to the wounds two days later on 21st of Ramazan.
