Srinagar: The civil society group from New Delhi which is on a visit to Kashmir valley is scheduled to meet Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani on Thursday to discuss the prevailing situation.
The group will also explore possibility of engaging separatist leaders for dialogue with New Delhi.
The group comprising of senior Congress leader, Mani Shankar Aiyar, and other civil society activists will meet the Hurriyat (G) chairman at his residence, sources said.
Pertinently, the Hurriyat leaders had earlier met the group led by former BJP minister, Yashwant Sinha during 2016 uprising but had refused to meet the members of the All Party Parliamentary Delegation from New Delhi.
