Srinagar: An amount of Rs 33 crore is being utilised on a four-lanning project of Boulevard, along Dal Lake, from Nehru Park to Kralsangri in the summer capital, Srinagar.
An official spokesperson here today said out that about 123 kanals of land including 17 structures, 12 shops and three plots of Theed, Brain, Asthal, Zethyar, Nowpora and Gupkar areas comes under the prestigious project.
Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan has directed the Chief Engineers Power Development Department (PDD) and Public Health Engineering (PHE) to take measures for shifting of electric poles and water supply pipes coming under the project immediately.
He also directed the General Manager BSNL to start the work of relocating mobile towers to ensure timely completion of the project.
The Div Com stressed the revenue officials to clear all pending land acquisition cases within the time bound manner and disburse the compensation among the affected land and property owners at the earliest.
