BANDIPORA: A meeting of District Level Review Committee (DLRC) was held under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner here today. The meeting reviewed progress achieved under District Credit Plan (DCP) up to 3rd quarter of the current fiscal.
The meeting was attended by Lead District Manager Bandipora, CPO, officers of sponsoring agencies and district coordinators of various financial institutions, besides representatives of RBI and NABARD.
Giving details, LDM Bandipora informed the meeting that credit to the tune of Rs. 116.51cr has been provided to 6491 beneficiaries under priority and non priority sectors during the first three quarters of the current fiscal in the district. He said that J&K bank alone has advanced Rs.90.20 crore which amounts to 77 percent of the total credit disbursed by all the banks operating in the district.
On the occasion, Potential Linked Plan (PLP) of Rs.419.58 crore for the year 2017-18 under NABARD was also approved which includes Rs 379.55 crore under priority and Rs. 40.03 crore under non- priority sectors.
The ADDC on the occasion directed the officers and bankers to work with coordinated efforts so that pending cases are resolved at the earliest.
