SRINAGAR: Blaming J&K state administration for playing mischief, Hurriyat Conference (G) on Monday condemned unabated arrests of youth during night raids.
Demanding immediate release of those arrested by police and forces, the Hurriyat Conference said, administration is hell-bent to make situation explosive and for this they are trying to create disturbances & uncertainty in State.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hurriyat Conference (G) while referring to the statement of Army chief, recent arrests and rumours about unrest, it said, India and its agencies are preparing stage for one more bloodshed in this year. State authorities are denying any political space and people are not allowed to raise their genuine voices.
While referring to the sinister designs| adopted by India and its agencies, the Hurriyat Conference said, they are deliberately creating disturbances in state and are hell-bent to cripple our economy so that people wont pursue their freedom movement.
Terming it Doval Doctrine, Hurriyat Conference (G) said, this is being implemented after a signal and due approval from Indian home ministry.
Commenting over this, it said, accordingly in future they will arrest more and more youth, implicate Hurriyat Conference (G) leaders in false and fabricated cases, put undue curbs and restrictions on media and they are looking to control Masajids and religious schools through their favourite and blue eyed religious clerics.
Their strategy is to launch their feverish designs from the onset of upcoming summer and soon after the winter season is over. They intend to spread rumours, create harassment by employing more harsh measures through their forces and agencies and this way they are expecting reaction & resentment from people. They just want to justify the policy of killings, maiming and snatching eyesight from innocents and disturbance in business through their deceitful tactics and provoke people, said the Hurriyat Conference.
Delhi and its henchmen are disturbed and anxious about freedom sentiments and persistence of people and moreover they are observing that despite the havoc and destruction created by deluge in 2014, their resolve for freedom still persists. These agencies feel that despite all these disturbances, their business has stabilised and is improving further, said Hurriyat Conference (G).
In the giving situations, the statement further said, Indian agencies have formulated short and long term policies to destabilize our economy. As per this strategy, and at first stage they have started to spread malicious, unauthorized news and rumours and it is followed by arresting youth from every corner of state.
Hurriyat Conference (G) said that people in Jammu & Kashmir are striving for right to self-determination and resenting the forced occupation of State by India. We have presented unparalleled sacrifices for our birth right and we are duty bound to safeguard these cherished sacrifices.

Urging people to understand follies being played by India and its agencies, the Hurriyat Conference said, accepted and recognized leadership is leading the freedom movement and they are visionary and competent enough to devise the strategy with regards to movement.
We believe that pro-Indian politicians and parties are power thirsty and are big hurdle in peaceful and lasting solution of Kashmir issue. It is desirable for our nation to maintain distance from these and never lend their vote and support. In such case India can never mislead world community and it will be difficult to justify its illegal occupation over state, said Geelani led Hurriyat Conference.
Hurriyat Conference (G) in its appeal to people stressed to ignore these rumours and follow only the program issued by resistance leadership.
Resistance Activists Denounce Arrests
The PDP led coalition government was slammed on Monday for arbitrary arrests and detentions in Valley thus creating atmosphere of anger among people.
The activists and leaders from representing resistance leadership today held protest demonstration in Srinagar. Intimidation, inducements and oppressive measures have and can never force nation of Kashmir into submission, they said during the protests.
A nation that had rendered sacrifice of more than hundred thousand of its loved ones cannot be silenced by bullying, they while addressing a peaceful sit-in at press enclave Lal Chowk today.
The leaders and activists from united Hurriyat Conference gathered at Abi Guzar and marched towards press enclave.
Chanting slogans in favour of Azadi, prisoners, martyrs and against the oppressive measures and tactics of occupation, the participants of the rally walked through the central market and reached press enclave where they staged a peaceful sit-in.
The protestors were addressed by, Raja Meraj ud din Kalwal, a leader from Syed Ali Geelani led Hurriyat Conference; JKLF leader Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi and APHC (M) leader Ghulam Nabi Zaki.
Terming the proposals of union home ministry as bullying Kashmiri nation, the resistance leaders said, intimidations, inducements and other acts of oppression cannot suppress a nation that has sacrificed its lakhs (of people and property) for freedom and dignity.
Dreaming of bullying a nation that has pledged to free itself by oppressive measures is only daydreaming. Indian home ministry is threatening Kashmiris of dire consequences and we are told that our imams, our Masajid and Masjid committees will be penalized. It is also being proposed that resistance leadership should be penalized through various measures, youth in resistance should be booked under PSA and unity among resistance camp be busted by some means. Revival of police SOG is also being proposed so that more and more oppressive steps are taken against Kashmiris, they said. Oppressive measures have not succeeded to break the will of Kashmiris in past and these will not succeed in breaking our resistance in future also.
While condemning the inhuman treatment meted out to thousands of incarcerated Kashmiris, the leaders added, thousands of Kashmiris are languishing in jails and police stations under PSA and even courts are not listening to their cases in a fair manner. People who are being released by courts are being re-arrested and kept in police stations for months which are highly condemnable.
Despite all these harsh oppressive measures people of Jammu Kashmir will never surrender and will continue their sacred freedom movement till the achievement of the desired goal, they added.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, Hurriyat Conference (M) on Monday strongly denounced the continuous night raids carried by the government forces and arbitrary arrests of youth in the length and breadth of Kashmir.
During night raids in south Kashmirs Pulwama district, fresh arrests of innocent civilians and putting them in police stations and jails, ransacking houses, breaking doors and window panes, creating a reign of terror in the entire area was a ploy of the ruling class to suppress the sentiments, wishes and aspirations of the people, a statement issued by the Hurriyat Conference said.
It added that the Hurriyat Conference amalgam strongly condemns the ruling regime and its police force for their inhuman and vengeful attitude towards the youth and children these tactics were being used as a political vendetta against our youth.
However, much the ruling regime and their masters might try to inflict pain and suffering upon the people of Kashmir, let them be clear that people of Kashmir are determined and adamant on achieving their right to decide their destiny and be its own masters, it added.

We have nothing to do with the posters. The families of the children who have been threatened in the posters have also suffered in the ongoing freedom movement. These children are our daughters and sisters. The Indian agencies and their agents are using social media also to defame us, the HM spokesperson said.
The shutdown calls are being given by the resistance leaders and if we call for a shutdown then we use a proper method for it. The shutdown calls given on the posters have no meaning, Hashmi said.
