Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chief Yasin Malik was Friday detained by police after he tried to march towards the UN office in Sonwar area of Srinagar.
The joint resistance leadership had called for a march to the United Nations Military Observers Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) today.
Malik was detained by policemen outside the mosque of Dastgeer Sahab (RA) in Sarai Bala area of Srinagar, reports said .
