Clashes erupt in Sopore after Friday prayers

Sopore: Clashes erupted between government forces and  youth in Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district after Friday prayers.

Reports said that youth took to streets immediately after the culmination of Friday prayers and started marching towards main chowk Sopore, but forces deployed in the area stopped them resulting in clashes.

Forces used teargas shells and Stun Grenades to control the protestors.

Clashes were going on in the area when last reports came in.
