Anantnag :- Chief Education Officer (CEO) Anantnag Tuesday suspended 19 teachers for remaining absent from the ongoing 3 days Teacher Training workshop under E learning in the district.
According to official sources, the training workshop is innovative and will help teachers to build their capacity to cater to the emerging needs of the children studying in government schools.
The training being the essential part of the professional development of teachers and the dereliction in attending such training displays the non-seriousness of teachers who evade this training on one pretext or the other, said a top official.
Talking to the Kashmir observer CEO Anantnag said that the current training programme is of utmost importance for the teachers and the negligence shown in attending these training shall be viewed very seriously.
