Srinagar: Continuing with its demolition drive to remove illegally raised structures, Lakes and Waterways Development Authority (LAWDA) through its Enforcement Wing today demolished five illegal constructions/structures in various areas of Srinagar city.
Enforcement Officer of LAWDA said the structures were demolished at Bare Mohalla WFR, Arbal Shalimar, Saderbal and Lashkari Mohalla.
Further the Officer said that public residing in the LAWDA jurisdiction are directed not to go for any sort of illegal constructions and Tipper/Load carrier owners are asked not to carry any construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/Nageen Lakes without permission.
He said the demolition drive will continue and elements creating hurdles in the process will be dealt under.
