Govt Forces Kill Youth in Pulwama

SRINAGAR:One youth was shot dead when govt forces opened fire on protestors in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday evening.

Sources identified the slain youth as Shakeel Ahmad Ganai,  r/o Chandpora Rajpora.

Scores of persons were holding protests in Haal area of Pulwama when forces shot the youth dead, said sources.

“Protests were happening at Nikas where youths from Aragam joined,” sources said, “first tear gas shells were fired upon protestors and then opened fire.”

A news report said that Shakeel was rushed to Pulwama hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
