DG YSS to officers:Ensure govt-school students take part in sports activities:

SRINAGAR: Director General of J&K Youth Services & Sports Department Jahangir Mir Friday visited various offices of the department to take stock of the functioning, a statement from media department of the YSS said. 

 He reviewed the sports activities going on in various part of the Kashmir division. According to the statement, he was informed by his officers that sports activities were being held across the valley despite the scorching heat. The students, the statement said, are showing keen interest in sports events. 

While interacting with the officials of District Youth Services & Sports Office Srinagar, DG YS&S directed DYSSO Srinagar Muzaffar Tramboo to maintain a close liaison with the field staff of the district and ensure that students from Government Schools also take part in different sports related activities.

Keeping in view the forthcoming Budget Session of J&K Legislative Assembly, Mir stressed upon his colleagues at the Directorate Office of Youth Services & Sports for gearing up the process of replies and responses to the Cut Motions.
