Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Dr. Asgar Hassan Samoon today held a meeting to review the medicare facilities being provided to the neonatals in GB Panth Hospital.
Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar, Medical Superintendent GB Panth Hospital, Cantonment Officer Badamibagh, CEO Department of Pharmaceuticals, representative from Department of Chemicals and Fertilizers were present in the meeting.
The Divisional Commissioner directed the hospital administration to further improve the medicare facilities in the hospital. He asked the authorities to allow limited number of attendants in the hospital so the patients are provided better health care facilities.
The Nodal officer and representative from Department of Pharmaceuticals informed the meeting about the benefits of Jan Aushadi Scheme. They said that the department has a target to open more Jan Aushadi medical sale centres in the health institutions of the valley.
In another meeting, the Divisional Commissioner discussed the measures to make the Super Specialty Hospital functional.(PTK)
