Srinagar: The light spells of rainfall was observed in many parts of J&K on Friday afternoon. The Met has predicted further rains and thundershowers for the day. The minimum temperarure in Srinagar was recorded at 7.6 degrees celsius while as in Jammu and Leh it was 19.1 and 6.8 degrees celsius respectively.
Srinagar received a total rainfall of 7.2 mm since yesterday while Jammu received a rainfall of 1.7 mm. In Jammu division, Banihal received 8.3 mm of rainfall, Batote 2.4 mm while as Katra and Baderwah received a rainfall of 1.2 and 3.6 mm respectively.
The relative humidity recorded in Srinagar in morning was 65 while as in Jammu it was 45. On Friday, the maximum temperatures in Srinagar, Leh and Jammu are likely to hover around 15 and 30 degrees celsius respectively. (PTK)
