Srinagar: One person died while two others were injured in different road accidents in the valley.
In Ganderbal, a load Carrier bearing registration number JK04B-7339 driven by Imtiyaz Ahmad Sofi resident of Saloora turned turtle at link road near Saloora resulting in on spot death of the driver. After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his next of kins for last rites. Ganderbal police has registered a case in this regard.
In Anantnag, a Mehindra Goods Carrier vehicle bearing registration number JK01A8-4081 driven by Mudasir Ahmad Ganaie resident of Diyalgam Kokernag turned turtle on NHW near Floor Mill Uranhal in the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijbehara resulting in injuries to the driver. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Anantnag police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kupwara, an Alto-800 car bearing registration number JK03E-0276 skidded off the road near Gas Agency Drugmulla resulting in injuries to a lady Hajra Begum resident of Baseeran Pahalgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
