JAMMU: As the elected government ceased to exist after the demise of former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the Motor Garages Department has recalled all the official vehicles from all the former ministers, while the nameplates in civil secretariat have also been taken off the offices of then ministers.
Director Motor Garages Zakir Hussain said that they department has recalled all its official vehicles which were allotted to the former ministers as their protocol ended with the dissolution of the government after the sad demise of former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
The state had 25 ministers including cabinet and ministers of state in the government.
Meanwhile, the executive government has taken off the nameplates from the offices of all the former ministers in the civil secretariat.
However, the personal staff of all the former ministers has been retained for now.
