Tourist Dies of Heart Attack in Sonamarg

GANDERBAL:A tourist hailing from Mumbai died due to cardiac arrest at Sonamarg resort in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, officials said.

They said that 60 year old, Kiran Shah, son of Sivatihai, a resident of Mumbai who was on a visit to Sonamarg along with family fell unconscious near Thajiwas Sonamarg.

He was immediately shifted to the Public Health Centre Sonamarg where doctors declared him brought dead.

Tehsildar Gund, Mohammad Aslam Chohan while confirming the death of the tourist said that after Medico legal formalities the body was handed over to the legal heirs.
