Army organizes education tour for students

Bandipore:   An Education cum Motivational Tour was organized by the Army under the aegis of Chinar Corps for the students of Army Goodwill School, Hajan district Bandipore.

The tour was flagged off by the Commander, Headquarter 3 sector Rashtriya Rifles at Army Goodwill School, Hajan on Thursday.

The tour is for eleven days starting from 19 Nov 2015 to 30 Nov 2015 during which the students will get an opportunity to visit places outside Kashmir. The students will visit Indian Military Academy, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Forest Research Institute and Lal Bahadur Shashtriya Academy of Administration at Dehradun. Apart from this, visit to Mussorie Lake, Kempty Fall, Jharipani Fall, Deer park and Robber’s Cave at Dehradun, Rock Garden, Sukna Lake, Government Museum and Art Gallery and War Memorial at Chandigarh and Bag-e-Bahu Fort and Hari Niwas Palace at Jammu is also planned.

Mr Bashir Ahmed, father of Sajid Bashir, student of class 8th and one of the participants of the tour said that this tour will broaden the horizon of the students and motivate them to work hard and explore various opportunities that are available in India.
