Riyaz Wani Bags Top Indian Award

SRINAGAR: Senior Kashmir journalist Riyaz Wani has won a top Indian award for his in-depth coverage of Jammu and Kashmir state.

Wani, who is a senior editor with New Delhi based Tehelka magazine, has bagged the prestigious Ramnath Goenka award for his reporting on Jammu and Kashmir.

Wani was earlier associated with various other local newspapers. He received the award for his “in-depth reportage” on Jammu and Kashmir for Tehelka magazine through 2013. Ramnath Goenka award is given by The Indian Express in memory of its founder.
