Pulwama: An employee of State Education Department died while his wife suffered injuries in a road accident in Pulwama on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Manzoor Ahmad Parray of Palpora Sonwar, Srinagar.
Sources said a Maruti Van bearing registration number JK0IG-7408 collided with a Tipper bearing registration number JK13B-4571 in Waibugh area of Pulwama district on Monday killing Manzoor while his wife was seriously injured in the mishap.
They said both the injured were rushed to nearby hospital where Manzoor succumbed to his injuries while his wife is stated to be critical.
