Peshawar: Usman Ghani, a key suspect in the attack on an Army Public School in Peshawar last December, was handed over to Pakistan by Italian police, security sources said today.
Ghani was handed over by Italian police for his alleged involvement in the December 2014 Army Public School (APS) massacre to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), .
Hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Mardan district, Ghani was escorted to Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) by Italian police after being arrested in Italy with Interpol’s assistance, the sources said.
In one of the deadliest terror attacks, more than 135 school children and at least 10 other people were killed when heavily armed militants stormed the army-run school in Peshawar.
