Srinagar: In the wake of the Mondays massive earthquake, Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Abdul Haq Khan, Tuesday, said that the civil secretariat building was in perfect condition and declared it safe.
The Minister read out an inspection report conducted by the R&B Chief Engineer before the employees who had struck work apprehending the building was not safe.
The employees under the banner of JKCSNGEU on Tuesday observed a token strike for half a day to seek clarification from the government about the safety of the civil secretariat post the massive earthquake that shook Kashmir Valley on Monday.
