Tral: At least seven youth hailing from different hamlets of restive Tral town of South Kashmirs Pulwama district have been sent to Srinagar Central Jail for their alleged involvement in militancy related activities.
Police had arrested these 7 persons during different raids and had claimed that huge quantity of arms and ammunitions including the rusty bullets were recovered from them. They were presented before the Munsif Judge who shifted them to Srinagar Central Jail, a police official told CNS and identified the arrested youth as Mehraj-u-Din Bhat, Irshad Ahmed Bhat, Adil Ahmed Bhat all residents of Lurgam Tral, Abdul Hamid Gojar a resident of Soyinar Lam and Waseem Ahmed Ganaie, Nazir Ahmed Wani and Shakil Ahmed Khan, the residents of Yengoni hamlet of Tral town.
