Srinagar: The Health Officer, SMC, Dr. Samina Maqbool along with food safety officers of SMC visited various areas of Srinagar city on Wednesday to take stock of sanitation situation and overall health and hygiene of various hospitals including JVC and LD.
The management of the hospitals were asked to take stringent measures with regard to the sanitation of all the wards as also in and around hospital premises.

During the inspection, the team seized polythene carry bags and warned the authorities there of punitive action if the offence was repeated.
