NEW DELHI: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Monday visited one of the victims of Udhampur attack at Safdarjung Hospital here on Monday.
According to Hurriyat (M) Mirwaiz accompanied by Bilal Gani Lone visited Safdarjung Hospital to inquire about the health condition of Showkat Ahmad, who was injured in an attack on a Srinagar bound truck in Udshampur on October 9, 2015.
Another victim, Zahid Rasool Bhat breathed his last on Sunday in the same hospital.
Condemning the incident Mirwaiz said, the so-called government of Jammu Kashmir has miserably failed to provide protection to the hardworking Kashmiri youth.
The incident is the result of failure of the government to protect Kashmiris from mischievous and communal elements, adding, the incident is sheer condemnable, he said.
