SRINAGAR: Bashir Karnai, Managing Director, and Rafiq Karnai, Managing Partner, Centre Tours and Travels (CTT), called on Governor N.N. Vohra, here at the Raj Bhavan today.
They apprised the Governor about the problems and possibilities for tourism promotion in the State. CTTs head office being located in the Canada, the Karnai brothers discussed with the Governor the possibilities of exploiting tourism potential in Kashmir by attracting more tourists from Canada and the hurdles which arise due to the negative Travel Advisory issued by the Canadian Government.
They also discussed with the Governor the potential of enhancing pilgrim tourism in J&K.
The Governor complimented the CTT for recently receiving the National Tourism Award 2013-14 for Best Inbound Tour Operators / Travel Agents (handling inbound tours) from the President of India.
