SRINAGAR: Army, as part of the Home Ministry initiative UDAAN, conducted a two-day long employment drive for the fresh graduates of Kashmir, an army press statement said on Friday.
This was the fourth such employment drive conducted by the Army in the Valley with the earlier three editions having evoked an overwhelming response, the statement read. The candidates hailing from the area of Kupwara, Baramulla, Awantipur and Shariefabad availed the scheme by attending the telephonic interviews held at various Army garrisons all across the Valley.
The telephonic interviews were conducted for employment of fresh graduates with fluency in written and spoken English who have passed out in years 2012 to 2015, for all India vacancies in the leading companies and industries of the country.
