SC suspends beef ban for two months

Srinagar:-The Supreme Court on Monday suspended the Jammu & Kashmir High Court order banning the sale of beef in the state, for two months. The Apex court directed the chief justice of the state high court to constitute a three-judge bench for resolving the issue. The problem arose after the high court’s Srinagar bench passed a conflicting order to the Jammu bench’s earlier one banning the sale of beef under the Ranbir Penal Code.
