Srinagar:-The Supreme Court on Monday suspended the Jammu & Kashmir High Court order banning the sale of beef in the state, for two months. The Apex court directed the chief justice of the state high court to constitute a three-judge bench for resolving the issue. The problem arose after the high courts Srinagar bench passed a conflicting order to the Jammu benchs earlier one banning the sale of beef under the Ranbir Penal Code. The state assembly today witnessed protests over the beef ban from Opposition benches. National Conference members called the ban an interference in religious matters
