BUDGAM: Minister for Revenue, Javaid Mustafa Mir Tuesday reviewed the arrangements put in place for the coming Muharrrum at a meeting of officers here today.
Mir directed concerned officers to set up medical camps at various spots, besides keeping ready ambulances with doctors and para medical staff.
He also enquired about the availability and supply of Rice, Atta, kerosene oil, Sugar etc in the Budgam district.
The Minister also directed replacement of damaged transformers, to ensure un-interrupted power supply during the muharram especially in Shia dominated areas. He further asked the district administration to ensure cleanliness near ImamBaras besides directing Forest department to ensure supply of firewood.
Deputy Commissioner Budgam, Altaf Ahmad Mir, Chief Engineer Public Works (R&B) Kashmir, SP Budgam and other senior officers of different departments were present in the meeting.
