Srinagar: The incarcerated chief of Dukhtaran-e-Millat Asiya Andrabi was on Monday shifted to SKIMS, Soura, from Womens Police Station Rambagh, Srinagar, for medical checkup.
Owing to her illness Andrabi was taken to SKIMS, Soura, for treatment. Her condition, according to doctors, is very critical. She has a major knee problem and is unable to walk properly,said a spokesperson of the DeM to CNS.
Asiya Andrabi will be presented before court on Tuesday. The court had remanded her to police till September 21. She was arrested a few days back from her house along with Fehmida Sofi for their alleged involvement in anti-India activities. (CNS)
