Srinagar: Sopore Police arrested two bootleggers and recovered illicit liquor from their possession.
Acting on specific information, Sopore police intercepted an i10 car bearing registration number JK05B-9603. On checking the car, ten bottles of liquor (each 750 ml) were recovered from the vehicle. Two persons Mushtaq Ahmad Gassi son of Muhammad Shaban resident of Kralteng Sopore and Bashir Ahmed Bhat son of Sonaullah Bhat resident of Chinkipora were arrested. A case under FIR number 202/15 under section 48 Excise Act was registered and investigation taken up.
