CRPF officer dies of stroke

Baramulla: An officer of paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died of cardiac arrest in tourist resort of Tangmarg in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday, police said.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Ajay Kumar Meena of 176 battalion suffered cardiac arrest at his camp in Baba Reshi in the wee hours Friday, an official said.

The officer, hailing from desert state of Rajasthan, was shifted to a hospital but he passed away on the way.
