BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner Badipore Saturday reviewed arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram during a meeting of the concerned officers and the representatives of Shia Association at Bandipora.
The DC oversaw the arrangements like distribution of rice, sugar, K-oil, LPG and firewood in Shia inhabited areas.
He stressed for keeping drinking water, electricity, transport and medicare facilities available in these areas during the holy days of Muharram.
Directing the Municipal Committee authorities to make better sanitation arrangements at Imambarahas, he asked the R&B and Rural Development Department to take up the required work of inner roads where Zuljinah processions would be taken.
