SRINAGAR: Department Related Standing Committee (DRSC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council held a meeting headed by MLC Sajad Ahmad Kichloo to review the functioning of Estates Department.
Principal Secretary, Estates Department Mr. B. B. Vyas gave detailed presentation about the planning, expenditure, procurement procedure, accommodation for legislators, VIPs, officers etc criteria for providing allotment and categorization of political leaders/legislators.
It was informed in the meeting that the department is providing accommodation to about 4000 move employees at Jammu. It was also informed that 105 media persons in the state have been provided accommodation in twin capital cities.
