Srinagar:Police on Tuesday said two Amarnath Yatra Pilgrims died on their way to Holy Cave due to cardiac arrest.
A police officia said that two pilgrims identified as Subash Chander (63), a resident of Chandigarh and Rama Shanker (58) of Uttar Pradesh after complaining chest pain near enroute to holy cave via Baltal route.
Both fell down and were rushed to hospital where doctors declared them brought dead, the official said, adding the duo died due to cardiac arrest.
