Protests force police to question 4 non-locals
ANANTNAG: A day after a 15 year old youth was found dead in South Kashmirs Kulgam district, Police Saturday after a massive protest by people outside DC office detained 7 persons including 4 non locals for questioning.
A police official said that these people have been called to police station for questioning purposes and they have not been detained.
The body of an auto-driver Altaf Ahmed Wani son of Abdul Rehman Wani, a resident of Okai Kulgam was found hanging on a tree in an orchard. Scores of people Saturday staged a massive protest in the district demanding the immediate arrest of the murderers. The protesters dispersed peacefully after a police official assured them of thorough and time-bound fair probe.
